Outlook nameing issue

when typing a user name in the To: field within Outlook 2003 this is what i get
Wickens, Karl <CWickens> i want to be able to change the <CWickens> to
<KWickens>

any help would be great, i have looked through the active directory and all
exchange options and cannot see a way of changing this, thank you in advance.
