Outlook lost graphics in xp

Hi;

Something has happened to my ability to forward most
graphics including jpeg's.

I have used to be able to forward pictures with no
problem. About a month ago, though, I lost that
ability. Now all someone, receiving the message sees, is
the text and a box outlining where the picture should be.

I have done 'restore' as far back in time as I can, no
help. The security box in Outlook is not checked. All
the knowledge base does is steer me towards reinstalling
the whole bloody os which I don't want to do for
something this small.

Maybe I just have to live with it.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
