Outlook limitations

We are in the process of reviewing and upgrade to Outlook 2007 (keeping all
other office products 2003)..

What are the pros of doing this and the cons?

I know the features in Outlook 2007 such as the to do bar, internal external
OOO, and search feature..

we are running Exchange 2007

Has anything with the OST file changed? We have a lot of people who have
problems using cache exchanged mode...

There are minor changes to the ost but its mostly the same as in 2003. SP2
makes everything more responsive.

For the best experience, you should upgrade the entire suite. If you only
upgrade outlook 2007 you'll lose some spelling/grammar functions and word as
the editor. You'll use the Word dll but won't have all the features word
offers - it will be more like the Outlook editor in older versions. You
won't have the 'office envelope' features either.

Does Outlook 2007 handle larger mailbox more efficiently? We can't install
the entire suite because of Excel.. All of our users use 2003 and 2007 would
be a drastic jump.

mailboxes better?
