Outlook keeps sending emails with attchments bigger than 2 MB

When I send an attachment in Outlook 2003 that is bigger than 2 MB, the
e-mail keeps resending itself. The size indicated is always 2 MB, and I have
to delete the message in the Outbox to stop it from resending. It then never
shows up in my sent messages folder?

Can I specify the size of outgoing e-mails somewhere or what is the problem?

Any help is greatly appreciated

Are you allowed by your ISP to send messages larger than 2MB?
If so and you have a virus scanner that integrates with Outlook disable this
integration and try again.
