OutLook keep ask a question when open and close

Hi all,
Not sure is it the right place to ask this question.

Problem 1: Whenever I open my OutLook 2003, it keeps asking me below question.
You can connect to the server using the network, or work offline, or cancel
this logon.
"Connect" "Work Offline" "Cancel" <<buttons
I have to click on "Connect" everytime when I open Outlook 2003.

Problem 2: Another problem is when I open a message, read it and then close
it. At my background task Why Microsoft Word is Running and eats up my 35 MB
of memory although I didn't open it? (This happen most of the time. Only
sometimes it didn't open.)

Problem 3: If above problem 2 is occurs, when I exist my OutLook 2003, it
will ask me a question:
The file Normal.dot already exists. Do you want to replace the existing file?
What is this? I doubt this is concerns with this MS Word issue.

Anyone can solve my problems??

1) This means at one time your Exchange server had been put in recovery mode
and by the way of the recovery of the Exchange server, the link between your
mailbox and the local cache got broken. Locate your ost-file and rename it
to .old. This will force Outlook to re-cache the contents of your mailbox.
If that doesn't work, try creating a new mail profile.

2) Was it a Word attachment perhaps? This can also happen when it is an
RTF-formatted message and you have configured Outlook to open RTF messages
with Word.
Tools-> Options-> tab Mail Format

3) This is connected to 2) but can also happen in Word itself. It means that
something you did or something you have installed wants to make changes to
the default documents template of Word. An add-in saving its settings in the
normal.dot file could cause this but also modified printer settings and a
whole lot more. Ask in a Word newsgroup for details.
