Outlook Keeps going into Offline mode

I have an account in Outlook 2003 which uses exchange server but recently
when outlook starts it always goes into offline mode and sometime asks for
the users to log in again with their name and password when I deselect 'work
offline'. Finally when it does connect and I close outlook and restart the
computer it happens again when I first open outlook again.

Is the Exchange server local to that user?
Is the computer part of the domain?
Does the same happen when somebody else logs on to that computer?
Checked the cabling already?

I have exactly the same issue which started a couple of days ago.
the exchange server is local to me
the pc is part of the domain
cabling checked
all has worked fine for years until now
it happens on other networked pcs
hope somebody can help
it started playing up about 2 - 3 days ago

Guys, has there been any solution to this problem or is this a deadend?

My user is having the same experience and she has unchecked the Work Offline.
So what is the solution?
