Outlook items

When selecting items using Ctrl key, the items duplicate in the folder. How
can I stop this, what's causing it? Not everyone has that problem.

You are somehow lifting your finger from the control button which is
creating the duplicate items. Try selecting only 5-10 items at a time and
then delete them.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
