Hi,
I have WIN XP PRO and Office 2003. I sent an email using my outlook and got
an error message from one of my recipients few minutes after (which is not
uncommon). The error message I got was 15MB(!) although my inbox is only
10MB. Once I got the email in my inbox (I can see the message header) it
made my outlook freeze and not responding. I logged in to my web based email
to delete that email but it didn't help. I reinstalled office and it didn't
help - after reinstalling it and reactivating outlook I had the same personal
folders and emails as before, and it was not responding again. I can't do
anything with my outlook right now. How can I delete that unwanted email
that freezes my outlook to continue working?

In Outlook, check on the file menu to use Outlook in Offline mode. Close
Outlook (ensure it is not running in task manager) and then reopen it. Then
delete the mail.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

Hi and thanks for the help:
The thing is that I can't work on Outlook at all - I can't do anything, it's
totally not responding. Is there any way that an email message can be
deleted from the inbox by NOT opening Outlook it self??
