I run Windows XP Home and use Outlook for emails.
When trying to insert a picture, save as "Tiff", in the main body of the
email it always puts an unopened item as an attachment at the base of the
email.
How do I get it to go into the main body of the email as an opened picture?

only gif and jpg can be inserted into the message body.

Don't know if you could do this with a TIF file....but if you compose in
HTML, you can embed the images (jpegs, gifs, etc) in the body of the
message.
