I have duo boot XP & Vista on new computer. In XP I try to send pictures in
Outlook but the extension on attchment shows jpeg.Ink. No one can open the
..Ink. How do I get the extension back to jpeg and get rid on the .Ink?

Dear Sharon,

Those .lnk files are 'shortcuts' to the pictures - not the actual
pictures. When you attach the file try to find the actual .jpg file -
not just a shortcut to it.

It will help if you open Windows Explorer and select Tools / Folder
Options / View (tab) and make sure you UN-tick the 'Hide extensions
for known file types" checkbox.

Hope that helps.
