Outlook IMAP Send/Receive time longer on Monday Morning

Hi we are running some performance testing on Outlook IMAP.

I know that Outlook 2007 performs a through send/receive first thing in the
morning. Once Outlook is running send/receive time is faster than when
starting up. Restarting Outlook after lunch and hitting send/receive is
faster than send/receive after first thing in the morning say 12 hours after
shutdown.

Question: How can I simulate a Morning Outlook 2007 Startup send/receive
more than once per day? Is there a Cookie?

Thanks
-Tom

I'm running OL2007 with a number of pop accounts together with IMAP
The only time differential I've noticed is when I first start OL, since
usuall there are a number of mails, after that since since only a few mails
are received during polling for new mail its quicker
The send receive process is governed by two settings;
Send/Receive when OL is started
Poll for new mail every xx minutes - usually its unwise to set this for less
than 10 minutes, as it can cause resource problems
