outlook has encountered a problem and need to close

I am having this problem, too. Can Microsoft break its silence and tell us
how to get this fixed? I thought they planted this bug in the updates to make
us buy a upgrade but I'm hearing the upgrades don't work either.
 
Has anyone found an answer to this yet? The same thing started happening to
me the day after my trial with McAffee ended!
