Outlook hangs upon startup

When i try and launch Microsoft Outlook 2000 it simply hangs and starts using
up all the memory on my CPU. It doesn't show up in my end task applications
but rather in the process i have to end the process to kill the open session,
any help would be appreciated, BTW i already tried re-installing.
