Outlook freezes

When attempting to insert an attachment, Outlook freezes
when trying to open any folder. This is a new behavior, it
has worked flawlessly up until now. It will also no longer
send from Word.

I have exactly the same problem. Not that it always was
that flawless before. I have had incredible problems
with Outlook lately. I really feel like throwing it out
the door. Wish there were an easy alternative.
