Hi,

I use outlook 2002 in work, but my formatting line in the
toolbar, ie where to choose your font, style, the bold,
italic, and underlined buttons are disabled!! i can still
see them, but you can't click on them. does anyone know
how to get this working again??

Thanks

Mike

Well, if you want to format your message (bold, color, italics, etc.)
then you need to use a message format that actually supports this stuff.
If you are composing your e-mail in plain-text format then that's what
you get - plain text with no formatting. You have to use HTML or RTF
format modes to compose a message with message formatting enabled.

When a menu item or toolbar are disabled, it's because those features
are not appropriate to whatever is currently selected or the mode
currently used.
