Outlook field for Fax Coverpage

Anthony Smith

Good Morning Everyone,

I hope everyone is doing well. I'm not sure if this is an exchange, outlook
or SBS2003 issue. We are using SBS2003 and the clients use Outlook 2003
also.
The shared fax is installed on the client. When sending a fax via email,
we'd like the body of the email to go into the coverpage in the Notes
section. For some reason the email is sent as a seperate page. I went into
the Coverpage editor in the Server Manager and there is a field for Note.
That should be the body of the email correct? Please advise on how to insert
the body of the email into the cover page of the fax.

We're using the Exchange Fax Mail Transport to send faxes.

Thanks!

Sincerely,
Anthony Smith

Longstanding issue. It will never be resolved. Support for modem faxing in
Outlook ends with Outlook 2003.

Ok thanks for the reply. So I need a 3rd party utility to do that, I know
there are plenty of them.

Have a blessed day!

Yes. Windows Fax was never really intended to be a full featured product. It
left that market to third party providers.
