Outlook oftens fails to open. Even when I have closed it and reopened using
safe mode, it still does not open in normal mode successfully. I hav to
contunially shut down my system to try again.

What happens when you try? Does it give you an error? Does it just sit
there? What version are you using?

You open it in safe mode ok, but then it fails normal mode again? What
add-ons are you using? What if you disable them? Any overzealous antivirus
running? Are you using Exchange Server?

It seems I have more questions than you do. :)

I'm also having the same problem. No error message just won't open, only in
safe mode. Diagnostics has nothing. reinstalling did not help. when i do get
it open in safe mode i get message interface errors and task errors.

I had McAfee but switched to
-- microsoft windows live one step. I also loaded on Qwest quickcare that
came when i subscribed to DSL. How do i check for add-ons. No to microsoft
exchange server. no errors just sits there. i have to turn it off through the
task manager and restart in safe mode. version is 2007. winsdows version is xp
