I have a problem when I receive email. When I received an
email that contained logos, etc, they would show up. Now
I only receive the text portion without any logos. I
assume the problem is with a parameter that specifies how
I receive email, either text or HTML. What do I do to
reset it to receive HTML.

Check your settings here: OE/Tools/Options/Read/Read all messages in plain
text.

also if you have any ad-blocking software, this could cause the problem!
