outlook express

when I open outlook express the newsgroups are always open. I have about
five newsgroups under msnews. microsoft. How can I get it to only show
msnews.microsoft? I hope you can understand that.

If I understand what you want, click on the minus sign in the small box to
the left of "msnews.microsoft" and the groups under that won't be displayed.

You do understand me. I do close them and then when I open outlook express
again they are open. I was wondering if their is a way to keep them closed
when you open outlook express
