Outlook express

WhenI open Outlook Express to check mail it shows no new messages. When I
close Outlook express a little box comes on and shows it is loading my
messages. How can I correct this? I hope this is the right forum. I could not
find one titled "outlook express".

Make sure Send and Receive Messages at Startup is checked under
Tools>Options>General Tab. The Outlook Express newsgroup on the Microsoft
News servers is at -----
