I have switched from Windows XP to Vista. I also had to switch my e-mail from
Outlook Express to Windows Mail. Any ideas how to recover the mail in
Outlook? I can't access my old computer.

Outlook or Outlook Express? They're different programs. If your old
mail is in Outlook, and you can't run your old computer, about all you
can do is install Outlook on your new computer, preferably version 2003
or later. Version 2002 also runs under Vista, but with a few problems.
A free trial version, if you can find one, will run more than long enough
to assist in the transfer. Windows Mail can't understand .pst files unless
it has Outlook available to assist it.

If it's Outlook Express, see here:

Bring along the .wab file if you want to transfer the contacts. After you
copy the old files to a directory on your new computer, but before you
import then into Windows Mail, make sure the copies are read-write
instead of readonly.
