outlook express

I upgraded to IE7. Had all kinds of problems. Uninstalled ie7 and now when i
try to forward a message in outlook express and change the font, I get a
message that says "an error has occured in this dialog. ERROR 501
Permission denied. This is but one of the many problems I incountered after
installing IE7. Any ideas?

Search for msoe50.inf(The default location is C:\Windows\Inf folder) Right
click the Msoe50.inf file, and click Install. Insert XP CD when prompted,
Browse to the I386 folder, click Open, then OK.

Patti,

I made the change Steve Cochran recommended and it seems to have fixed the
problem. I enabled the item under misc but it didn't say anything about
internet or trusted sites. Guess it's okay if it works, huh?

When you select the Security tab, you should see the zones (Internet, Trusted
sites, etc.) at the top. Select the required zone prior to clicking on the
Custom Level button.
