Loading component error messaage

I am running XP Home, IE7. Recently I have been getting the following error
message: "QOELoader.exe Unable to locate component (x) This application has
failed to start because QOEHook.dll was not found. Reinstalling the
application may fix this problem." I had been attempting to go from IE7 to
IE8. When it didn't seem to take I attempted to go back to 7 and that's when
my problems started. Too many to discuss here. But the above error message
was one result that continues on even after the problems were eliminated and
I am operating normally now. I would like to know what the problem is and
how to solve it.

Well, that answers my ? I have CA Security Suite and have been having some
trouble with it lately. Got it as a freebie from Road Runner.com. So I will
follow up on it. Thanks again.

Beware of ISPs bearing gifts...

The mere fact that software is free is not a reason to install it.
