I have just purchased this computer. There is no
spelling tab in outlook express under tools-options.
There is an icon when creating a message but it isn't
working. Any ideas as to how to fix this would be much
appreciated. Thanks

Windows XP does not come with its own dictionary for spell checking. You
either have to have MS Works, MS Word or MS Office installed for the Outlook
Express spell check to function. If you don't have any of the software that
I mentioned on your system, and don't intend to purchase it, you might want
to go to:

http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=2952

and download and install the FREE utility Spell Checker for O.E. 2.1, which
integrates with Outlook Express like the spell checker for the programs
mentioned above.
