Outlook Express

When I try and send a message through Outlook Express it tries to find a
host. Then I get this error message:
The host 'SMTP' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the
server name correctly. Account: 'POP3', Server: 'SMTP', Protocol: SMTP, Port:
25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D
There are times when I need to use Outlook Express to send something. Can
anyone help?? Thanks

Hey, don't shout - it is rude!
Who is your email provider?
It should go something like this in the 'Server' boxes in
Tools/accounts/mail/props/server

smtp.xxxxxxxxx.com
pop.xxxxxxxxx.com

Make sure your account name and password are correct.
Let us know.

Ouch! Please don't yell at us. We can hear you if you type normally, in
mixed case.

You should enter whatever your ISP tells you to enter there. None of us can
know what that is.
