Ask for a return receipt, that way you will know if the recipient got your mail. However, if the recipient denies the receipt you will never know.

To set up for that, create message and in the menu bar of the message window click tools and check "Request read receipt".

Notice its says request?

If you wish to enable this function globally (for every message you send out) you need to go into Options (Main window of Outlook Express) and click Receipts and set it up as you wish

I won't acknowledge you ... ;-)

I'm sorry, but I would set mine to "Ask me before Sending a response" and then deny it ... and would stongly advise all, to do the same.

;)
