outlook express won't let me send to newsgroup

Whenever I try to send mail to a newsgroup I receive the
error no sender was specified. Please check your News
Account configuration. When I check everything looks
okay, am I missing something?

Is MS Outlook your default Mail Client and are you opening the newsreader
via OL View>Go to>News?

I asked about Outlook, not Outlook Express. They are two separate
applications.

OE Tools>Accounts>Mail> Do you have a default mail account?
