Outlook Express with Win2000

Does OE save newsgroups specific for each user with Windows 2000?

I'm moving my Win98SE OE saved newsgroups with watched threads over to Win2K, using this
article:
http://www.insideoe.tomsterdam.com/files/store.htm

Do I need to log into Win2K with the username I will use with these newsgroups? Or there
any flexibility with users and newsgroup access?
 
I can't say for sure, but I'm 99% convinced since the Outlook identity files
are placed in each users directory.
