Outlook Express will not save passwords

When I start OEv6 and check for email, I must enter all
of my passwords for my 7 accounts I check. I have
entered my password in Tools, Accounts and checked the
save password checkbox, but it doesn't seem to stick.
funny thing is that when my wife logs in and starts OE,
the passwords don't have to be entered. They have
somehow been saved for her. Help

I have exactly the same problem: it is driving me nuts!
Reading the many posts in this newsgroup I get the
feeling this is quite a common problem (although I have
yet to find the answer).

If you have been reading the posts in this group, you would know this is NOT
an Outlook Express newsgroup. Post to an OE newsgroup.
