outlook express - where are emails stored

i hav a large amount of emails stored in my local folders,
mainly the inbox folder. i hav to do a system restore to
my pc in a week, and i need to make a backup disc of those
emails as they r very important. aswell as this, plz can
u tell me how once i hav dun the restore i can place
backed up emails bak in my local folders.

NB: im using outlook express, not outlook (although i do
hav outlook 2000)

Search for dbx-files.
