In an earlier post I asked how to get rid of Outlook express becasue I
installed Outlook 2003. Iwas told not to and asked why.

Here's why...Because even though Outlook (2003) is identified in IE
Options as the default mail handler (and OE confirms it's NOT the
default mail handler), and I have removed all of the accounts from OE,
every time I select send as an email from IE the system tries to build
an OE email. It will not accept Outlook. This is making me cranky.
How do I fix this?

How to Set Outlook As the Default E-mail Program:

1. Quit Outlook.
2. Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
3. Double-click the Internet Options icon, and then click the Programs tab.
4. In the E-mail list, click Microsoft Outlook, and then click OK to save the changes.
