Outlook Express - sets wrong date

I have one email account which collects mail from 3 sources, one of these
assigns the time and date when emails are received correctly. However, over
the last couple of weeks, emails sent from the other two sources have been
given dates received as 6/10/2003.

I thought that it was due to the number of read emails in my inbox exceeding
500, but I have reduced this to 300, and this has done nothing.

I run IE7 on Windows WPHome. I installed IE7 some months ago and had no
problems - as far as I am aware.
Hope someone can help - please.

Pay attention to the first suggestion.

General OE Caveats:

- Don't use Inbox or Sent Items to archive messages. Move them to local
folders created for this purpose.

- Empty Deleted Items folder daily.

- Disable Background Compacting [N/A in SP2] and frequently perform a manual
compact of all OE folders while "working offline". More at
http://www.insideoe.com/files/maintain.htm.

- Do not attempt to close OE via Task Manager or shutdown your machine if
Automatic Compacting is taking place (WinXP SP2 only).

- Your anti-virus application's email scanning feature can also cause
corruption. Disable it. It provides no additional protection.
