Outlook Express Problems!

Can someone please help me?
OK...this just started happening to me. I close out of
Outlook Express and when I look at my open processes I
still have MSIMN.EXE running. And if I open Outlook
Express a second or third or fourth time I see 2 or 3 or 4
MSIMN.EXE processes on the Task Manager. Each one burns up
9K or more of my RAM and once in a while I get an error
closing windows telling me MCI manager (or something like
that) cannot close. I have searched for weeks in forums
and on Google and the only thing I can find is an error
(exactly like mine) that has to do with McAfee anivirus.
Well, I do not have ANY antivirus software even installed
on my computer, so I know my error has NOTHING to do with
McAfee. Can anyone help???


By the way, before anyone says it.
I have updated and ran both Adaware and SpyBot and neither
have found a problem. I have also ran 3 virus scans (Panda
Active Scan, somehting called stinger, and Trend Micro
Scan) No viruses found either.

This has to be some kind of windows registry problem or
somehting.

Stinger is associated with Macafee AV. Go to C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program
Files and delete the ActiveX program associated with Stinger, reboot and see
if that corrects the problem.

I am having the same exact problem as well. I do use mcafee anti-virus and
disabled the scanning of e-mail and attachments like it said and it still
happens. I will look into it with Mcafee from here. Thanks for letting me
know about the link
