2nd request for help...

I have tried all the typical responses / suggestions
short of removing NETSCAPE 7.1, the damn thing.

See suggestions/solutions in short form below my
problem...

I had a computer tech at my house 2 days ago to fix an
issue that started occuring with Outlook Express freezing
up when ever I sent/forwarded/reply to any e-mails. It's
fixed via compressing my e-mail folders. (Don't KNOW WHY
THAT FIXED IT??!!) NOW when I am in the folders My
Pictures or Documents, etc... trying to send photos/files
by clicking on the left side, "File and folder tasks" to
e-mail them out as smaller sized files instead of getting
Outlook Express opening to e-mail these pic's/files I get
Netscape!!! I don't want netscape!! I'm not that big of
an idiot and think I've checked that Outlook Express is
STILL my default e-mail. I have NO idea what's triggered
Netscape to be the e-mailing program, NOW! instead of
Outlook Express as it's been for a year+. The idiot
computer tech wants to charge me MORE for something he
created!!! HELP PLEASE.

1st, and the 1st portion is basic & had already been
done...
Go to Control Panel, Internet Options, Programs and set
Outlook Express as your Default e-mail client. You can
also check this in OE's options, on the General tab.
Last, but not least, click Start, Run and enter
MSIMN.EXE /REG

2nd,At the bottom, check "This Application is the Default
Mail Handler."
was already done/checked...

3rd, In Outlook Express, go to Tools, Options, General
tab. In the lower right corner you'll see buttons for
the Default Mail and News handlers.

And there is no visible result of using the
MSIMN.EXE /REG command. It simply restores a large
number of Registry entries concerned with making OE the
default mail handler.

Reset OE for Send To , Mail To , Send Mail (Line 64)

Download the ZIP file (3rd option - Send Mail). Extract
the contents of the ZIP file and double click the 2 Reg
files, answering yes to the import prompt. The
README.TXT file contains more information. REG files can
be viewed in Notepad to see the changes that are made.

I've not seen this one myself, but this article looks like it may
help.
