No it won't. It's possible your identity is corrupted. Try creating a new
one and see if that helps.

Hi,

Click tools/options and go to the maintenance tab. Under troubleshooting,
enable the mail logging. Click apply/ok and close the tools, then try
sending and receiving. When finished, go to your mail folder (you can find
this easily by going back to maintenance and clicking the "store folder"
button, it will tell you where it is located) and open the pop3.log and
smtp.log files. Copy/paste the contents into a reply (ask if you need help
with this).

Ok do I leave the check in the box by mail under troubleshooting after I'm
done? What do I do after I send the reply? It tells me where the files are
then do I go there to open the file? thanks for your help meaginn

An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.

Hi,

You can remove the check after running the test. The location of the store
folder (its path) will be indicated by the store folder button. Once you
know where it is, open Windows Explorer and navigate through the folders to
the location and double click the files to open them in notepad.
