Outlook Express keeps asking for password

Hi everyone,

I set up a second account in Outlook Express with pop, smtp codes and all
that.

It works fine - I can send and receive.

After it performs a task (not before) it asks me for the password. The
password is already entered, appearing as black dots - but whether I just hit
return or delete, re-type and hit return... the window reappears, asking for
the password again.

If I press cancel the window does go away and, like I say, this is all
taking place after OE has performed the desired task with the new account...
so obviously the password is being used and accepted.

Just can't get this pesky window to stop appearing afterwards!

Any thoughts?

Do you have any special settings for the outgoing email server (SMTP)? Are
any set irregardless? If so, other than user and password, what are they?
