Hi

Can anyone please tell me if it's possible to locate my OE Inbox in my C:
drive using the Explorer.

Many thanks

Although you should be posting this in the Outlook Express newsgroup I will
tell you, its in the following location . . .

C:\Documents and Settings\[ Your Username ]\Local Settings\Application
Data\Identities\[ id number ]\Microsoft\Outlook Express

It is stored with all your other Outlook Express folders, they all have a
..dbx extension.

Hope that helps ?

Gerry.

Yes very true, but many users don't move their store like in this case, if
gunga had moved his store then he would know where to find his inbox wouldn't
he, as he hadn't then it will be in the default location.

Go to TOOLS/OPTIONS/MAINTENANCE window. Click the "Store Folder" button.
It will tell you the current location of you message storage folder. There
is a "Change..." button to enable you to choose another location. You might
want to choose a location that would be included in your regular backups.
