outlook express inbox files

I downloaded xp service pack2, all of the messages in my
outlet express inbox disapeared. I found them in a folder
called x. Where do i need to put them to get them back in
my inbox. using outlet express. nick

You shouldn't use the Inbox or Sent Items folders to store emails.

I think you mean you are using Outlook Express? lol
Use file>import...... to get the mail back.

If you have folders.dbx in folder x, in OE, File, Import, Message Store,
OE6, point to folder x.

If you only have inbox.dbx:
