Outlook Express IMAP account

I have created an IMAP account and my email downloads fine
from the mail server, however, when I try to delete any
email, a horizontal line appears through the email subject
and does not go to the deleted items folder. Is there
something not set correctly....

That's how IMAP works. You need to purge deleted messages to get them to go
away. Usually found on the Tools menu.
