Trying to see if anyone has had this experience: Today I
started getting a bunch (40+) of emails saying that
something or another was infected with a virus and was
being returned, etc, etc. I blocked the sender and then
went and deleted some old email and it decided to delete a
lot of sub-folders also!!! I did a system restore and it
did not restore those folders in OE. Any idea as to what
is going on here????? Thanks!

System restore doesn't monitor personal folders. See these links;
