Outlook Express folders

How can I see my Outlook Express folders from a previous
version of Windows if I have already installed XP Pro? I
have a backup of the folders, but I can't see them when I
copy them into the Outlook Express folder. Why doesn't
that work?

OE folders are all saved as .dbx files. To move the folders to your new
version you would do a File, Import, Messages and point to the location of
the dbx files from the previous windows version.

Move the old dbx files to a folder on the hard drive.
Do not move the files to the Outlook Express folder.
Remove the Read Only attribute.
Point to the hard drive files during the import.
