Hello

How do I permanently "empty" DBX folders please?

Although my "deleted items" and "sent items" folders are empty they still
show up in explorer view and seem to be taking nraerly a gigabyte

Pebso.

Hi,

You cannot delete those files if you are using Outlook Express. Instead,
click file/workoffline, then click file/folder/compact all folders. This
should reduce the size. Do not compact folders while working online, as
doing so can cause corruption of the mail store if the system attempts to
download new messages while the inbox is compacting.
