Outlook express "Folders" file

Everytime I run the maintenance routine in Outlook Express, when I compact
the folders, it stops at the "folders" file and says that the file is being
used by Outlook Express or another application.

It is driving me crazy. No other apps are using the file and it needs to be
compacted.

Please help

Try excluding the .dbx file type from your antivirus software.
