Outlook Express file deletions

Has anyone ever undeleted mail folders for outlook express? I haven't had
much luck with a couple of undelete utilities. One of the problems is that
the deletion was done outside of Express (XP pro), leaving the identity and
default folders which are empty inside Express. I deleted what I thought was
a folder short cut off the task bar, emptied the recycle bin and didn't
realize the error until I went back into Outlook Express the next morning.

See if the dbx file for the missing folder still exists. If it does,
you can get it back.

Tools>Options>Maintenance>Store folder will reveal the location
of your Outlook Express files. Press the Tab key to highlight the
folder location, then Ctrl+C. Close OE, then Start>Run>Ctrl+V will put
the location in the box - Click OK and you'll see the OE files.
Otherwise, write the location down and navigate to it in Windows
Explorer.

In WindowsXP & 2K, the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default
marked as hidden. To view these files in Explorer, you must enable
Show Hidden Files and Folders under Start>Control Panel>Folder
Options>View.
