How can I alter the security settings of Outlook Express
to stop it deleting harmless email attachments? I send a
picture or a .pdf from work (secure public service IT
environment) to my home email, and the attachment is
deleted by Outlook express as potentially threatening
(major overkill).

1. Launch Outlook Express.
2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
3. Click the Security tab, click to clear the "Do not allow
attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially
be a virus" check box under Virus Protection, and then click OK.
