The Outlook Express newsgroup doesn't seem to be working,
so I am posting in the Internet Explorer newsgroup instead.

For the last few days I've not been able to send/receive
email because Outlook Express cannot find my server. (See
error message copied above.) I'm running Windows 98
Second Edition, and Outlook Express worked fine before
now. I've checked my OE account profile, and all the
information looks correct. The server name is also
correct. I update my Microsoft patches regularly, and did
again just today. I also ran scandisk (it found and
corrected a few errors) and disk defrag today, rebooted,
but still Outlook Express cannot find the server. My
McAfee DAT files are up to date, and I ran a virus check,
but it found nothing wrong. Short of re-installing
Internet Explorer 6 and Outlook Express, does anyone have
any suggestions? Thanks.
