Outlook Express appears in Start menu after fbreseal.

I've got the "Show Outlook Express on Start menu" item cleared in the
"User Interface Core" component, and after first boot there's no
Outlook Express on the Start menu, just like you would expect.

However, after fbreseal, the next time I log in, Outlook Express is
there on the Start menu. It's easy enough to get rid of, but I'd like
to be able to give our production dept. a clonable image with as few
manual tweaks needed as possible.

Any ideas?

s.k. easley,

If you manually reseal your image, use "fbreseal -keepuser".
In Target Designer, go to [System Cloning Tool] = > [Advanced] and set
"cmiRemoveUserSettings" to FALSE.
There are also a few other settings that might be of interest.

HTH,
Rob

PS. This applies to XPe SP2 (and possibly SP1). In SP2 FP2007 these settings
can be found as check boxes directly under "Settings" in the component. DS

Thanks Rob. That took care of it.
