Morning All,

My laptop was recently "fried" by lightning. I was able to salvage the hard
drive. I've been trying to find the Outlook Express address book but can't.
The old address book was in Windows XP and the new laptop is in Windows
Vista. My old hard drive is recognized by Vista as Drive:F. But with out the
old OS I can't find my address book.

I've tried going to F: then to Documents and Settings, then to "user" (which
is how the drive now recognizes me), but from there I can't find Microsoft
to find outlook express.

Am I screwed or what???

I would be grateful for any help you can give.

Under your "user" folder the address book will be found at "\Application
Data\Microsoft\Address Book\". Note the Application Data folder is
hidden by default so you'll need to configure your view options to show
hidden files and folders.
