OUTLOOK EXPRESS 6

I cannot change the highlighting of email addresses inserted in body of
message when I send a message. When I write an address in my message..eg;
sacha (e-mail address removed), and press enter, the same font colour and underlining
always appears. I want to change the font to bold, or italic or whatever so
it will stand out in my message. How do I do this? I have tried going to
Microsoft Word 2003 but get really confused. I am using Windows XP HOME
EDITION and Internet Explorer 6.
