I have WindowsXP Pro and use Outlook Express for my e-mailWhen I open OE,
an error message comes up saying password was rejected. Service Error
#0x800CCC90 and error #ox800CCC92. In Properties I do not have the
"Secure Password Authentication Account" checked. Any ideas on how to
correct this? I contacted my ISP, and they said everything should work
fine, so it must be in OE. Help, please.
 
First, are you certain CAPS LOCK is not on?

Second, try highlighting the existing password (*****etc), then retyping the
password over it.

Finally, try this: in InternetExplorer, select Tools -> Internet
Options... -> Security, then reset all of the security settings to the
default button.
